I’m a long time user of Frasier Spier’s FlickrExport for Aperture plug-in. I’ve never even tried the built in “flickr synchronization” feature, but from what I’ve read it sounds like a bit of a disaster.

On Aperture Names and Metadata
I created a simple applescript to copy the version name of a photo in Aperture to its title field. I did this so the version name would get written into the IPTC metadata of the photo when I export it out of Aperture.
